Seva story #63 of 100

Aloha Friends,

Today’s seva story #63 of 100 comes from Karen who lives part time in Edmonton. Seva means selfless service for the benefit of the community and the environment. I am collecting 100 seva stories to spread positive news, inspiration and ideas on how we can all participate in our communities.

Karen writes…”I have been involved in an organization in Edmonton called Suit Yourself for about 8 years.  We provide women in need who are trying to get into the workforce a complete working wardrobe.  All of our clothes and items are donated.  Our clients are all referred to us through different social agencies.  We are usually their last step before they have a job interview.  I have served on the board of Suit Yourself for two years but it’s the actual suiting and working with the clients that I most enjoy.”

Please share your Seva story with me so we can spread the Seva! Aloha,  Johanna Waters info@johannawaters.com
