Aloha,
Today’s Seva story (#22 of 100) comes from Wendy who lives in Calgary. Seva means selfless service for the benefit of community and the environment. I am collecting one hundred Seva stories to share for inspiration, ideas, entertainment and positive news. Wendy participates with the “Awareness Inn” through her church. About once a month the Awareness Inn house and feed the homeless for a night. The homeless get food and a warm place to sleep. Wendy enjoys participating because it helps people and she gets to meet a lot of new people in the process.
This is a good example that Seva work can be done when you are able to give. Even if it is not everyday every Seva bit can make a difference. Don’t underestimate the impact of your seva work. Please share your Seva story with me. Aloha, Namaste, Mahalo, Johanna Waters info@johannawaters.com
