Today’s Seva Story #23 of 100 comes from Wendy who lives in Calgary. Seva means selfless service for the benefit of community and environment. I am sharing these stories so we can get ideas, inspiration, entertainment and to spread positive news. Wendy had a second story to share in addition to her story in Seva story #22. Wendy enjoys practicing be a good citizen because it makes her feel good. Wendy is a hockey player and every year she participates in a hockey game fundraiser/tournament to raise money for breast cancer research. She plays in the tournament and also helps with the administration of the fundraiser. It’s an all day enjoyable event with the game, a luncheon and socializing. Wendy enjoys the aspects of involvement, camaraderie and competition of the hockey tournament.
