Seva Story #25 of 100

Aloha Friends,
Today’s Seva story comes from Elaine who lives in Vancouver, Canada. Seva means selfless service for the benefit of community and the environment. I am collecting and sharing these stories so we can get ideas, inspiration and to spread positive news.
Elaine writes, “When I retired from teaching I became interested in participating in theatre  – singing, dancing and acting. Among other things, I joined a drama group that rehearses one act plays, usually comedies and performs them at various senior centres. It’s fun interacting with the various cast members, at the same time as honing my acting skills. It is heartwarming to hear audiences laughing and responding to various lines and to know that we have brought some joy to their lives. After a performance we usually have a chance to meet and chat with people so they are no longer strangers but new friends!”
Please share your Seva story with me so we can spread the Seva. Aloha, Mahalo, Namaste,  Johanna Waters  info@johannawaters.com
