Today’s Seva (#19) story comes from Kathy from Colorado. Seva means selfless service for the benefit of community. I am sharing these stories so we can get ideas from each other and spread positive news. Kathy started a success journal for family support. She placed a journal for her family on the kitchen table and all members of the family were encouraged to write, as the mood came to them. Some of the entries were “I only missed one on my scientific spelling test.” “I scored the goal.””Mom’s halloween costume ideas”, “Dad’s delicious ice tea”. Kathy’s family had fun sharing at dinner times and the journal brought a sense of togetherness.
